Discusses the pictography and hieroglyphic writing of the Mexican and Central American Indian tribes. It also mentions several codices, such as the Codex Dresdensis Maya and the Codex Vaticanus Latinus 3773, authors, and the use of astronomy in the Mayan calendar.
